[REVIEW] JUMISO All day Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum
Hi! How are you guys doing?
Today I'm back with another review.
So, last month I received this All
day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Serum* from Jumiso when they were
hosting for Indonesian reviewers. The package came along with their First-skin Brightening Sheet mask.
I’ve been using this serum for a month now. And I can tell you that there
is an improvement on my skin.
ABOUT THE BRAND
JU : Give / MISO : Smile
JUMISO means ‘Makes you smile’ in Korean.
No wonder the brand logo is similar to the smile emoji ☺☺
ABOUT THE PRODUCT
- Non-water-based
- Brightening booster
- Light weight
“JUMISO vitamin serum is a non-water-based and high-concentration serum

skin. It contains various vitamin complexes such as A, B, D, E, and K as well
as vitamin C and many ingredients that nourish skin, helping skin brightening,
soothing, and elasticity care.”
So, this serum contains of Hippophae
Rhamnoides Fruit extract (86.14%) as its first ingredient instead of
water/aqua. It’s also known as Sea-buckthorn or Vitamin Tree, so I guess the ‘vitamin’
word refers to this plant extract. It also contains of Ascorbic Acid as other brightening agent beside of Sea-buckthorn
that’s rich of Vitamin C and Niacinamide 20,000ppm.

It’s clear, it’s
quite thick, it smells fresh and a bit citrus-y.
MY THOUGHTS
I said that this
serum is quite thick, it’s not runny at all. It feels a little bit tacky when
applied but still comfortable. It also absorbs quickly and sinks into the skin
very well. My skin always feels well-hydrated everytime I use this.
It’s been a month
I use this religiously every morning. I expect this to be an anti-oxidant
product for morning time since it contains of Vitamin C.
Now, what I feel
about this product is this helps my skin controls sebum production. I believe
that is because of the Niacinamide. My oily skin tends to be normal even in 10
hours after morning skincare routine.
The other good
thing I feel from this serum is the glow. Yes, you read it right. I don’t know
why but I feel like my skin is more radiant and brighter than before, it glows
from within since the first day I use this serum. I’m still amazed by the
glowing effect from the serum whenever I look at myself in the mirror ^^
There is another
one. This is the most important. I did expect the serum to work well on
brightening PIHs on my chin. So I did take pictures every week since the first
day. Here they are.
It’s amazing, isn’t
it? It works wonder in only a month. Maybe the progress is quite slow but it’s
fine. Small progress is still progress,
right?
I’ll continue
using this serum ‘till the last drop of it. Oh, I forgot. Since the texture is
a bit thick, I usually need only 2-3 drops for the whole face and neck. Now
that it’s been a month, it’s still 2/3 part left.
Now, are you
intrigued to try this serum? I hope this product would work well on you too.
Your milleage may vary.
For Indonesians, you can purchase this on Sociolla, Watson and StyleKorean.
