[REVIEW] Benton Shea Butter and Olive Hand Cream
Benton Story
‘Benton’ is inspired by and named after the movie ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ in which Benjamin Button grows younger with time. In the movie, Benjamin has no choice but to leave his love, Daisy, as he becomes younger. If Daisy could also turn back time of her physical appearance, wouldn’t she be happier? It may just be a fictional movie, but wouldn’t most people have the same desire to be young again? Benton desires to restore your skin back to its original healthy condition with healthy recipes, rather than to give temporary effects with harmful ingredients. Also, Benton presents freshly made products by sticking to small batch production.

Ingredients
- Shea Butter: Shea Butter is a vegetable fat extracted from the nut of shea trees. It moisturizes rough and dry skin, locking moisture in. It is also known as the secret of the beautiful Cleopatra’s glowing skin.
- Olive Oil: Extracted from compressed olives, olive oil is not only good for health when eaten, but is good for the skin too. Olives are rich in anti-oxidizing ingredients such as Vitamin A and E which help prevent the aging of skin, form a moisture barrier which prevents moisture loss and help keep skin firm.

Recommended for the Following Skin Types
It's a type of hand cream that has a lighweight texture; it spreads smoothly without tackiness. I feel my hand is less greasy comparing to other hand creams I have.
I did an experiment on my dry and rough skin earlier. My skin suffers from eczema so it tends to get itchy and flaky. The hand cream helps my skin to be smoother and moist. The drieness is still there, because I still use a washing soap daily. But I can say my hand is less dry and less itchy everytime I use this hand cream.
Here I show the before - after picture.
Overall, I love this hand cream and it's been in my bag eversince I use this quite often that I abandoned my other hand creams.

Performance
I was really happy when I received this Shea Butter and Olive Hand Cream*. I rarely use a hand cream before since it gives nothing but greasy and unpleasant feeling. Sometimes, hand creams on the market contain too much fragrance.
But this one is different. From the ingredients, we can say that it's a healthy hand cream with natural ingredients. It also has a fresh scent from essential oils instead of artificial fragrance. For me it's more like lemongrass and citrus scent. It could be overwhelming at the first use, but I notice that the scent will go away as soon as it absorbs into the skin, which is good for people who doesn't like too much fragrance.
