REVIEW | iUnik Propolis Vitamin Sleeping Mask

Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by on my blog.

Tonight I'm gonna write a review about iUnik Propolis Vitamin Sleeping Mask. This isn't something new on my stash, but I think I have to write it down here, just in case someone needs it.

So, let's begin from the ingredients first.

This sleeping mask has 16% of Propolis extract and Hippophae Rhamnoides a.k.a Sea Buckthorn fruit extract as its main ingredients. It also contains of many beneficial ingredients, such as Centella Asiatica Leaf Water, Niacinamide, and Beta-glucan. I was also glad to find out that this sleeping mask is paraben-free, sulfate-free and alcohol-free. But this one is not silicone-free, so for those of you who's allergic or avoids silicone, you better take a note.

You can check the full ingredients here.

iUnik claims this sleeping mask could intensely nourish and moisturize tired skin. It also has brightening and wrinkle care effects.

Let's move on to the texture.

As you can see, it has a milky white color. The texture itself is quite thick and silicon-y. It has a light scent, in my opinion the scent is quite similar to the serum, which is like an unique scent of honey.

Performance

To be honest, I forgot to search for the ingredients list before purchase. Apparently, number one is water, followed by Propolis extract, Butylene glycol, glycerin, Sea Buckthorn and others. Somewhat disappointed, apart from the small percentage of propolis because of the texture.

The cream is very thick; and after I did some research on the internet, it could even be used as a morning moisturizer, which is not sure if I would use it that way since my oily skin only needs a light moisturizer at day time. I can say the cream is also easy to blend.

I only use this as a sleeping mask, it takes quite long to absorb, afraid if doesn't absorb well, it would stick onto the pillow. I usually use this after night moisturizer if I need more hydration, or I just skip moisturizer and use this sleeping mask alone.

There is no negative reaction, anyway. And I have tried using it when my cheeks have some clogged pores the last time I travelled, it helped on calming my 'angry' skin at that time but with a slow progress.

I personally like this sleeping mask but I think I'm not gonna repurchase since I have a habit of trying new products after finishing a product.

*Result may vary.

Thanks for reading my review. Hope it helps you. xoxo

  1. I have only tried one sleeping mask so far but the one I tried has watery texture. I'm a little afraid with sleeping mask that has heavier texture because if I put heavy moisturizer at night, I will wake up with oily face in the morning. But I'm actually intrigued to try this because I have the propolis serum and I love it!

    1. Hi! Thanks for stopping by :)
If your skin loves propolis, I'd suggest you to try the Cosrx honey sleeping mask over this one. It's way more watery and lighter. Sometimes I also use it in morning routine.
I haven't finished this one yet, tbh. I just like it, that's it. 'Cause I don't think my skin would crave for this over and over again or count onto this on breakout days. But then again, it's just my personal experience.
Hope you'll love this one if you try. ^^
